Flow Basketball Academy launched in the Spring of 2012 with one small team of 7th and 8th graders. The program grew as they grew. Beginning in 2017, two athletes graduated to play in college with two more in 2018. And soon, in the class of 2019, three more Flow athletes will join the ranks Flow alumni as college basketball players. Please see the stories of the Flow alumni below. They all followed the self-driven college recruiting process recommended by Flow College Counselors.
Hayley is Sophomore Forward at DePauw University majoring in Global Health. She is a starter, playing 20 minutes per game, averaging 4.5 points and 6 rebounds per game. Hayley graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep Varsity as a varsity letter winner in basketball and lacrosse. She was a Flow athlete for three years in high school and also coached a Flow 5th grade team during the summer before she started college.
Kathryn is a Sophomore Guard at Grinnell College majoring in Sociology and Women Gender Studies. She is a starter, playing 27 minutes per game, averaging 8.2 points and 7 rebounds per game. She graduated from The Latin School of Chicago where she was named Senior Female Athlete of the Year captaining basketball, softball and cross country. Kathryn was a Flow athlete for six years and also coaches Flow Team 7/8 in the summers.
Jade is a Freshman Guard at American University. She is playing approximately 20 minutes per game averaging 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and was recently named “Rookie of the Week” in the Patriot League. She graduated from The Latin School of Chicago where she was a Second Team All-State, two-time conference player of the year and MVP and reached the 1,000-point mark in her junior season. Jade was a Flow athlete for seven years.
Campbell is Freshman Forward at DePauw University. She has played in every game in her first season as a Tiger, averaging 13 minutes, 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game. Campbell graduated from St. Ignatius College Prep Varsity letter winner in basketball, field hockey and soccer. She was a Flow athlete for seven years.
